The Wars Waging In Islam Are Over Power Not God

Today we remember 9/11. The United States was attacked, NATO quickly came to our aid. We learned a new word -jihad, a new name -al Quaeda, and Muslim people were cheering all over the world.

As we worked through the information, read a copy of the Holy Qur'an, got our nation moving again, we found ourselves angry at a religion -not allowed- with God fearing people. It is a sin. Today there are more Muslims at war with themselves, their neighbors, and God, than can be counted.

Al Quaeda, taught the Muslim faith jihad was holy. Not only an invasion, any war -Holy. That martyrs receive 72 virgins in Heaven. God brought fourth an army, in the Holy Land. Muslims had taken over the world and the United States is trying to take it back. All still said today.

None are true. Dying does not allow the one dying to produce children in Heaven or Hell. God did not build his own army. He has every army on this earth waiting to do his bidding. Their are all kinds of armies that have heard something, they thought was God, went to war immediately. They found out they were wrong.

The wars raging, or soon to rage, in Gods name are political. These wars, from Assam to Syria, are politics with a gun. The Civilized world uses ballot boxes, lawsuits, even at times boycotts (boycotts are a sign of desperation and are avoided).

Many Muslim countries are quite civilized. The Fertile Crescent, Iraq, is the birthplace of civilization. We see Muslims fighting between themselves for power. Some may fight for control of resource money, some fight for control of a country, still others fight for a future voter head count. None are fighting for God.
