05/22/12 Live Oak, FL (People Port) -A Virgin Mary statute looked nailed to the oak. Turns out, it was carved by carpenter bees, ants, and bugs.
I was broke down in Walmart parking lot, selling the jewelry from my store on the hood of my truck to buy the parts. I looked up one morning and noticed the statue. I looked closer and discovered what it was.
Did not think I had a People Port story. It was a story. I called the retired photographer I had met, Larry Rosenberg. He took some photos, I approached the tabloids. I was sure the Virgin Mary story would be big, the tabloids were not so sure.

I had more than one local explain, Mary was here for you, not for us. Miracles occur every day in our lives, so this is not a big deal here. People did pray in the parking lot at times, however, no one confused me with the Hidden Imam. The birds did and do sing my name every morning. People still stop and pray -on occasion. My life is still up in the air as I try to find work, ads, or gigs. My lottery tickets are not winners
