In Redefining Government's Role, Remember -We The People

Our Republic's experiment is just being remembered, We have a -death tax- so our nation's wealth is not concentrated in the hands of a few families.

We do not put our faith in some benevolent lord, wealthy family, corporation, We put our faith in -We The People. Our nation's rich states are expected to fund the poor ones so they too have a chance at growing wealth. Building the infrastructures, institutions and the like. Symbolically, that would include, The Bridge To No Where.

For most of our existence, we instinctively knew it was -We The People- but were taught it is a nation's general wealth, gold, iron, copper, fertile land, weather, roads, ports naming a sliver that produced a nation's wealth. At our founding, we recognized the need for mass communication (mail), liberal intellectual protection. We expected poor States to pull themselves up as each State did before. Many still blame corruption for poor States remaining poor. Today's commentators point only to tax policy. No more -We The People.

We The People, assumes we cast our lot together as a nation. First we are Americans, the rag tag collection of misfits not wanted in our countries of origin. Among our like selves, We joke about other nationalities, however, We claim the positive traits or our origins and everyone else's publicly. All falls when a -task, trouble- presents itself. Once again, it is -We The People.

Today, we understand -Japan, Italy, Ireland, Germany... definitively proved, It is a nation's people that grow wealth. Public policy sets the guidelines for wealth creation. Ours has been there since our nations birth -We The People. We did not write, specifically excluded, Corporations, Political Parties and the like.

So today as we look to define what role government will play in our nations future, we must remember our faith in -We The People. Our Constitution guaranteed the biggest voice to the people. We like corporations providing jobs, wealthy families philanthropy, and the like, each needs its voice heard because today we have adopted them into, We The People. Our laws, Public Policy, keep any group or individual from gaming an unfair advantage.

Note:

Oklahoma's new Governor used We The People as a her administration's goal in her inaugural. This article has been written, re-written in the past. Running it now because so much rhetoric seems to cloud the essence, We -as a Nation- build our tomorrows.
