CBO's Report On Unauthorized Funding

01/18/11 (People Port) Our Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report on budget appropriations, authorized or not is out. All programs covered are currently funded under the continuing resolution, which expires in March. No information is available about unauthorized funding for 2011 as a whole because the full-year appropriations have not yet been enacted, however, Who gets what...

There are two reports available, one for the House, One for the Senate. The reports are intended to assist Congress the authorizing legislation that should be in place before it considers the regular appropriation bills for the upcoming fiscal year. Both reports may be found on the CBO's website. Congress, most of us, will enjoy the information. Various amounts will not total to totals listed elsewhere because of the legislation's varying Committees of Jurisdiction.

Much budget deficit insight can be found and used to inform those working to balance our nation's budget.
