IAM: Update On Deaths Of 10 Nuristan Eye Campers

8/12/2010 (People Port) Kabul, Afghanistan- Dirk Frans, Executive Director, International Assistance Mission (IAM) issued an update on the circumstances surrounding the deaths of their Nuristan Eye Camp team members.

As this continues to unfold, more is understood. The Taliban, was unusually quick to take credit for this blood bath of innocents. They have taken this opportunity to warn foreign aid workers in Pakistan to leave, under the threat of more spilled innocent blood. While many point -this action alone, prove the Taliban, a far right wing version of Islam, are mentally incapacitated, Their damage is real.

IAM is waiting for completetion of the investigations. Within hours of the bodies being found, the Taliban in Pakistan took credit.
