People Port Is Saber Rattling

06/22/10 (People Port) Not how I like to write, however, events made this article necessary. Those of you regular readers will not be surprised. Was asked to write this article. Did not like the idea. I have changed my mind (see Notes). One cannot look weak.

With that in mind my articles have getting read:

April 14 I ran Stop Killing Off Innovation . I used a Google example in that article. Google stock started heading down. Sorry, Google. I attempt to write useful information. If someone uses that article, Good.

I ran The End Of Oil Is Here, Today because I did not see that story in our media. The Secretary of the Navy made the rounds, looked into the story. After reading the report on our new Hybrid ship, that article wrote itself. Oil has been down ever since May 4th. Nice to see or oil traders, trade on fundamentals.

June 1st I had it with that leaking oil well. I wrote, BP Continues To Move Itself Into Deeper Gulf Waters I was surprised at BP announcing they would use the Top Kill fittings to get more oil out of that well. That and other suggestions (Those counting, cross-indexing, please see People Port Editorials) made their way into BP's containment plan. So many found their way in, I called BP to offer my services, should they want me to look at their fail-safe, the blowout preventer. Just so you understand (do not tell BP), people within stressful situations, often become very conservative. (This needs to be in here,) I did not reduce anything to practice, Just concepts. Do not go nuts, the rule is skilled in the arts...

I am told I wrote a great story last year. On April 20th 2009 I published, Sudan A Nation In War It does look as though some of the people that interact within that nation are readers. I do pray for those stuck in camps.

I have been told to stop writing, Better able to find a job. Sure. Since this January, regularly told my writing is holding me back. I always ask, How? Why? I do not know to what extent, I have positively influenced outcomes at that underwater well, however, I do know there will be a lot less oil to clean up because I decided to write, cover the mess. I see that as good. I do not make money from writing. It helps to be able to saber rattle. Lord knows the government cannot be expected to do their job.

This is the background of the story.

Heard a rumor I was a Klansman. Thought it was funny until I found someone carved a word in my headboard (Not that one). No one broke in, They used a key. Most do not know the Klan is considered very bad in this part of the Bible Belt Buckle. The Klan ruined a revered symbol, the Confederate Flag. If the Klan had an office here, it would be bombed on a fairly regular basis.

My Mother regularly reminds me I need to get paid. "One day the ads will come, Mom."
